Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide a proposal that includes lighting replacements, controls, photometric analysis, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, transportation, rental, and all other items necessary to complete the lighting restoration for both the AFRC and the FMS as described in this Request for Proposal (RFP) and based on the Basis of Design spreadsheet. It is the contractor’s responsibility to review and confirm fixture counts and types. Battery back-up fixtures identified on the drawings will be replaced with a battery back-up fixture. The contractor will propose simplified lighting control strategies based on the lighting fixtures and solutions proposed in the Basis of Design. The contractor must assess the demolition of the existing Luton control systems and propose simple control solutions to regain lighting functionality. The requested proposal must provide basic photometric assessments for the Assembly Area of the AFRC and the Vehicle Bays of the FMS. This is required to ensure proper illuminance of these areas based on industry standards (IES). The expectation of this RFP is that a fully functional turnkey LED lighting system is delivered to the facility stakeholders. The contractor shall provide project deliverables based upon current facility priorities and objectives as detailed in this RFP and the Basis of Design. The base bid includes all interior lighting and controls for AFRC (Line Item 1), all interior lighting and controls for the FMS 1 (Line Item 2) and attic stock as described on page 10 item 4 (Line Item 3), Line Item 4 will target Exterior and parking lot LED lighting for the AFRC. The existing LED lighting will remain, however will remain, however contractors are asked to provide a separate additive bid item (ABI 1) to reconfigure this lightings control system. Line Item 5 will target Exterior LED lighting controls for the FMS. The existing LED lighting for the FMS will remain, however contractors are asked to provide a separate additive bid item (ABI 2) to reconfigure this lightings control system.
