The purpose of the project is to address the expected increases in traffic volumes by improving the substandard rural local roads surrounding the Intel Chip manufacturing facility currently under construction in western Licking County. The targeted roads were selected based on a TID traffic shown on the attached exhibit generally identified as Project 1, 2, and 10. Other road segments noted on the exhibit “Silicon Heartland Regional Projects” may be added as they advance through the project development process. These roads have poor pavement conditions, substandard widths, and poor drainage conditions. The selected consultant will provide services to include construction inspection/administration and materials testing services for the following projects: County Line Rd / Duncan Plains widening and Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) of County Line from SR 37 to Duncan Plains and Duncan Plains from County Line to US 62. * Mink and Duncan Plains Roundabout construction and FDR for Duncan Plains Rd from Mink to Green Chapel. Rd. Duncan Plains from US 62 to Mink widening and FDR. Duncan Plains from Green Chapel to 310 widening and FDR. Clover Valley from Duncan Plains to SR 37 widening and FDR. Green Chapel from Mink to Duncan Plains Widening and FDR. Other Intel Local Rd projects (such as but not limited to Fancher, Beech or Green Chapel Rds).
