This document provides specifications for a requirement contract for the purchase of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance services for the various divisions of the Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Cleveland Public Power (CPP), Division of Water Pollution Control (WPC), Division of Water (CWD), and the Office of Radio Communications (ORC). DPU operates buildings at many locations across the City of Cleveland (City) and Cuyahoga County. Within the group of buildings, there are HVAC units and systems that require service of a reputable company with expertise in HVAC maintenance. The contractor shall be responsible of furnishing qualified staff trained in repairs or replacement of HVAC equipment housed within DPU's various locations to include, but not limited to, cooling towers, chillers, electric motors, wiring air conditioning controls, water treatment controllers, fuses, duct work, blowers, refrigerant piping between two or more pieces of equipment, insulation on the refrigerant piping and equipment, gauges, control devices, thermostats, manual valves and starters, air handling units, fans, dehumidifiers, water coils, heating units, generators, variable frequency drives, condensers, diffusers, rental of temporary cooling, shot feeders and trim and temperature controls and any other related work required to maintain the systems in good working order.
