The contractor will provide ASL interpretation services for ODJFS, Office of Employee and Business Services hosted events throughout various regions of the state. These services are intended for persons who may be ODJFS customers, internal/external, or partners and are deaf or hearing-impaired who may be eligible for ODJFS programs and activities (i.e.: claimant hearings, legal proceedings, public meetings sponsored by the State and/or other due processes, etc.). There may be times when Services may be needed for multiple events in multiple locations simultaneously throughout the state. The Contractor shall furnish all staff, tools, & materials necessary to complete each ASL interpretation event as authorized. All interpreters must be familiar with, understand and agree to always follow ODJFS’ standards for interpretation (Attachment E). Highly qualified Contractor(s) shall provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services via the following methods: in person and/or; through video remote interpreting; video relay interpreting; in-person and/or remote captioning services (CART), etc; tactile interpreting; C-print, etc
