The purpose of this contract is to treat select invasive plant species in the project area for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District’s (District’s) Doan Brook Restoration at Horseshoe Park. The project area is located along Doan Brook, east of Lee Road along the border between Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights (Figure 1). The invasive vegetation management services shall include the treatment of invasive plant species within the approximate 50-acre project area. Treatment methods may include foliar, cutstump, hack-and-squirt, as well as aerial (drone) applications. Treatment will occur during summer, fall, and early winter of 2025. Methods and schedules shall be determined on a species basis to ensure time and resource efficiency, long-term control, and the minimization of damage to non-target species.
