The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to develop content and provide statewide training to ICF administrators and QIDPs on best practices of the OhioISP and person-centered planning. Training for ICF administrators should focus on updating internal ICF policies and procedures, communication to people receiving services and their family members, and training all ICF personnel. Training for QIDPs should focus on the core competencies and functions of assessment, planning, monitoring, and revising. Contractor will develop in-person and online content focused on enhancing the person-centered planning process by developing consistent training for ICF administrators and QIDPs. The main target of the training series is to help ICFs better support people with disabilities and their families while ensuring the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) and Ohio Department of Health (ODH) regulations are met. The training series will empower ICF administrators and QIDPs to interweave current practices into the OhioISP template, process, and online system. Additionally, this project will do the following: • Promote a culture of person-centered planning to support the adoption of the OhioISP in ICFs. • Increase QIDPs core competencies of assessing, planning, monitoring, and revising. • Target Ohio ISP training that breaks down the full OhioISP implementation for those served with severe behavioral and medical needs. • Provide resources to ICF administrators to assist in OhioISP implementation.
