Specifications include, but are not limited to: USER desires to acquire a needs assessment of short and long term business system needs of the County. a. Evaluate the existing technology and business processes. b. Prioritize the enhancement and replacement of key business information systems, with an emphasis on creating more efficiencies. c. Develop a five year information Services strategic plan that clearly defines goals and objectives. The County anticipates a project scope that includes activities outlined below; however, proposers should develop a plan of work they believe will most effectively meet the County objectives of assessing current service and technology gaps, ultimately developing a roadmap for improved business processes. 1. Document the effectiveness of existing information systems including services provided, infrastructure, funding and service methodology. 2. Define roles and responsibilities for County IT services. 3. Identify opportunities for increased efficiency in County operations through the reduction of redundancy and increased automation through technology. 4. Establish County IT policy and procedure for enterprise wide IT services including cybersecurity, procurement of hardware and software, license compliance and network access. 5. Develop recommendations for email retention, social media and Internet usage.
