Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce seeks an experienced Offeror to provide and deliver a statewide professional learning plan to strengthen the work on the High School Mathematics Pathways Initiative. While building coherence, this plan shall provide targeted support and networking opportunities for teachers and school leaders to ensure that their school system focuses on implementing Algebra 2 equivalent courses successfully. Content developed shall be utilized by regional facilitators who are tasked with ensuring alignment and consistency across the state. Prospective Offeror’s must use previously developed training and instructional materials for the Algebra 2 equivalent courses to accompany their work. All elements within the scope of work and subsequent work plan shall be reviewed and approved by department personnel prior to implementation. 1. Communication Strategy. Prospective Offer’s shall provide a robust communications plan. The plan shall encompass two components which share information in addition to a method(s) for obtaining information. a. Provide schools and districts information about the Algebra 2 equivalent courses and available professional learning opportunities to best prepare students for their post-high school college and career goals and aspirations. b. Determine why schools and districts may not have begun to implement alternative math pathways.
