Specifications include, but are not limited to: Deliverable 1. The Independent Contractor will design a front cover for the Agency’s Annual Report. The Annual Report will be presented to the Ohio General Assembly on or before April 1, 2019, in electronic (PDF) and/or print form (and will be printed by the Agency, not by the Contractor). The graphic must be produced in an electronic format that can be easily modified by the Agency as necessary. The design must also be capable of reproduction in different sizes (i.e. handbills, 8½ x 11, and 11 x 17) and in both color and black and white. The successful candidate may be asked to make edits or corrections once the primary image is selected. Three stages of Deliverable 1 may include: • Stage 1: 20 front cover designs, to be built from discussion points with Agency staff; • Stage 2: 20 additional front cover designs, after discussions regarding feedback on the original 20 covers; • Stage 3: 10 additional front cover designs, after discussions regarding feedback on the previous cover. The design will include the following features: Specifications: Successful contractor must account for all of these requirements: • Visual appeal to audience; • Relevant imagery associated with Ohioans and their utility services (electric, natural gas, telecommunications, and water); • The designer is required to work with the Agency on design and content specifications; • The designer will be prepared to use photography from the Agency resources and assist Agency in obtaining photographs from outside sources as needed. The use of outside photographs for which payment is required should be minimized to hold down costs for the Contractor. • Testing: Testing of imagery on all applicable platforms (Web, print, etc.) is required. If needed by the Agency, any changes or adjustments are to be made by the Contractor. • The final determination of the features to be addressed will be made by the Agency after the Contractor provides options. Deliverable 2. Provide updates or revisions to front cover until the term of the contract has expired.
