Under the terms of this bid, the bidder shall be capable of providing services for upgraded exterior building lighting at the George J. McMonagle (GJM) Administration Building. This project will also provide upgrades to the East 40th Street entrance guardhouse. It has been recommended that the GJM facility’s exterior lighting should be upgraded for security purposes. This will include the parking lot area lighting, building egress lighting and rain garden area. It is also recommended to upgrade the East 40th Street guardhouse to allow it to be staffed during standard office hours. These upgrades will include interior and exterior lighting, gate controls that are accessible and monitored from the front desk, security cameras, and a new power feed to the guardhouse.
