The Consultant shall prepare and maintain a project schedule that includes periods for alternative development and selection, final design, reviews, and approvals through the City of Upper Arlington. The Consultant should assume a three-stage plan development and review of the chosen alternative. The services include the study and preparation of construction plans, public involvement, and contract/bid documents for the Five Points Intersection. The project will include the following: Detailed traffic analysis to determine intersection design alternatives . Public Involvement to obtain input on alternatives . Detailed design of the selected alternative . Assistance in identifying and applying for external funding . The Consultant shall attend and prepare materials for up to three public involvement meetings which will be held in person at the Upper Arlington Municipal Services building. The purpose of the meetings is to gain input on alternatives to guide in the selection of the preferred alternative, as well as potential meetings to review the design and potential construction impacts. The consultant’s proposal should provide a detailed community engagement plan to obtain input outside of public meetings.
