GCRTA is seeking a vendor to provide regular preventative maintenance visits and repair service for our cardio machines and strength equipment at the 5 on-site fitness centers. The vendor and technicians should be familiar with the manufacturers listed in the specifications listed below. Proposals should include at least two (2) preventative maintenance visits for each site on an annual basis and information regarding repair service plans. We are requesting a three (3) year contract with two (1) year options. An explanation of service and maintenance requirements along with equipment inventory for each fitness center is listed in the specifications section below. Service and Maintenance Requirement Specifications • Submit information on service options in the case of broken or malfunctioning equipment. Include service plans offered by your company including all estimated costs associated with these options. • Provide options for preventative maintenance visits, including cost and/or hourly rate based on the equipment listed below. The checklist should include (but not limited to) the following: Cardiovascular Equipment o Inspect all belts for wear and proper tension o Inspect resistance operations o Check calibration settings and calibrate to manufacturer’s specifications o Check, clean, and lubricate decks, pedals, sensors, and motors o Test operation of unit Strength Equipment o Inspect cables and pulleys o Clean and lubricate all guide rods, carriage assembly, and pulleys o Adjust cable tension o Inspect weight stack and pins o Inspect all upholstery for wear or damage o Test operation of unit
