The Township hereby requests that design firms interested in providing professional architectural and engineering design services to the Township for the Project. The Township requests that the selected firm provide a full range of design services for this Project including, but not limited to architectural, structural, civil, landscaping, mechanical, electrical, and related services which may be required in the connection and design and execution of the Project. All work performed must comply with existing federal, state, and local codes, statutes and requirements. The selected firm will work cooperatively with the Township and the Township’s construction manager at risk, and provide architectural and engineering services for building analysis; building design; construction documents; bidding specifications; daily construction supervision/inspection and administration and additional coordination responsibilities. A preliminary plan is attached to this RFQ that provides additional detail as to the potential scope of design services required. Fire Station 362: The Township is looking to build a new structure to replace the existing Fire Station 362. The Township desires to construct a new single-story structure (approximately 16,000 sq. feet), with a mezzanine (approximately 1,500 sq. feet), being a total of approximately 17,500 sq. feet. The new station will include offices, living quarters, kitchen and dining facilities, other support spaces, and apparatus bays. Fire Training Tower: The Township also desires to construct a “fire training tower”, which is anticipated to be approximately 1,600 sq. feet.
