Specifications include, but are not limited to: ODPS’s current FTP solution is being used by various customers from courts, police departments, insurance companies and other State of Ohio agencies for requesting Abstract Records, Uniform Traffic Tickets, Financial Responsibility forms etc. The solution works by establishing an FTP session with the ODPS Secure FTP server (DNS, ftp.dps.ohio.gov) using a software client (e.g., FileZilla) and the FTP server. This solution no longer meets ODPS’s needs and must be replaced. There are approximately 1,200 active accounts in the current solution. ODPS is seeking a supplier to provide an FTP solution and corresponding support and maintenance. The agency requires a tool with which to send and receive files securely, both internally and externally, and the current product does not meet its needs. The requirements detailed in this RFP document will be used to identify a supplier to provide an FTP solution and support services.
