The City of Lima (“City’) is issuing this RFQ for professional services to assist the Lima Fire Department (“LFD”) in evaluating the continued utilization of existing Central, #2, & #3 Fire Stations including a spatial needs assessment and recommended conceptual renovation and/or new facility designs on the existing site and/or a new facility on any newly recommended sites utilizing a Fire Station Location Analysis prepared by the Ohio Fire Chiefs’ Association (May 2025), together with detailed preliminary cost estimates for all designs and recommendations. Accordingly, the City seeks Statements of Interest and Qualifications to retain the services of a consultant with the appropriate experience and qualifications to evaluate and make recommendations based upon comprehensive local data analysis, department need, key stakeholder engagement, and modern fire service standards.
