The City of Columbus, Sewers and Drains Division, is soliciting quotations for inspection, testing, and repair of fire safety systems at 1250 Fairwood Ave. The system consists of 11 (eleven) wet sprinkler systems, 5 (five) hydrants, 2 (two) Fire Cycle II systems, and 1 (one) dry system. 2.0 Requirements: Inspections will be done on a quarterly basis and will include, but not be limited to the following: A: Operate all control valves. B: Lube O S & Y valve and hydrant caps. C: Perform main drain test on each system. D: Test alarm devices and test antifreeze. E: Test water motor gong. F: Inspect and lubricate the fire department connection. G: Flush and pump hydrant (spring) H: Check hydrant for water (fall) I: Provide complete documentation of test results
