Overview The City of Canton intends to contract for engineering design services for proposed streetscape projects. Each project will be awarded separately. Only one SOQ is to be submitted. • 19th St. NE Area Improvements GP 1495 • 13th St. SW Area Improvements GP 1496 Project Description • 19th St. NE Area Improvements GP 1495 – The improvements in this area to consist of new sidewalks & curbs; raised intersection at 19th & Edwards with possible stamped & painted asphalt or concrete; new ornamental sign posts. The existing pavement may remain. Waterline, Storm and sanitary sewers are to be evaluated by the city and may need to be included. • 13th St. SW Area Improvements GP 1496 – The improvements in this area to consist of new sidewalks & curbs; new ornamental sign posts. The existing pavement may remain. Waterline, Storm and sanitary sewers are to be evaluated by the city and may need to be included. Professional Services Needed The scope of services may include, but are not limited to: • Survey • Plan & profile development • Cross sections • Construction details • General & technical notes/specifications • Easement development • Coordination with utilities and other reviewing agencies as needed • Engineering estimates • Ohio EPA PTI submittals • Project Site Plan and/or Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan development • Ohio EPA Notice of Intent (NOI)/Stormwater General Construction Permit Submittals • Other service as necessary
