Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Delaware seeks the services of a benefits consultant with significant experience representing a broad range of clients, particularly those in the public sector, to negotiate all group benefit contracts and to solicit competitive quotes from prospective carriers, including stop loss, medical and pharmacy, dental, vision and life programs. Additionally, the consultant will provide ongoing legislative compliance guidance and support, coordinate and deliver periodic plan briefings for the benefit of City Management and carriers and provide direct assistance in rolling out new programs and initiatives. The City seeks a professional service provider with at least five (5) years of experience working as a broker for public clients similar in size to Delaware.
