Through this initiative, the City desires to replace its current collection of legacy financial and administrative information systems with an integrated enterprise solution (commonly known as an Enterprise Resource Planning or ERP system). Accordingly, the City is seeking to engage the services of a qualified Consultant to provide expert guidance, oversight and assistance to the City in the management and execution of RFP06-0252; ERP CONSULTING SERVICES 4 this strategic initiative. 2.2 The Selected Consultant will serve as the City's Principal ERP Consultant for the full ERP project lifecycle (from initiation to closeout). 2.3 The Selected Consultant will report to the Executive Sponsor and Steering Committee of the City's ERP project and will be expected to provide independent, objective and expert guidance, oversight and assistance regarding all aspects of the City's ERP project including, but not limited to: · ERP Education and Needs Assessment · Project Initiation · Project Planning · Project Management and Control · Business Analysis and Business Process Reengineering · Product and Functional Requirements Analysis · Product Selection and Procurement · System Design, Configuration and Implementation · System Integration, Data Conversion, Testing and Deployment
