The contractor shall provide durable medical equipment consulting services for the Department of Social Services, MO HealthNet Division (hereinafter referred to as the state agency), in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein. a. For purposes of this document, durable medical equipment, shall include custom wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, positioning equipment, etc. The contractor shall either provide the services directly or shall provide a person who must comply with the requirements stated herein. Therefore, references to “the contractor” throughout this document shall also be deemed to include the person(s) provided by the contractor.
