The following specification is for one (1) complete dump body installation on a 2025 Ford F550 Super Duty 4x4 chassis with a cab to axle length of 84”. This vehicle will be supplied to the body builder by the City of Upper Arlington – Fleet Section. Bid must include the cost for all materials and labor for one (1) complete installation of the dump body, toolbox, power inverter, safety lighting, hydraulic system to operate a tailgate salt spreader and the listed specifications to provide complete usable truck.; Dump Body and Hoist One (1) nine (9) foot stainless steel dump body. All components constructed of 10-gauge 304 #4-polished finish stainless steel with western style cross members. Dimensions shall be minimum of 108” length; 84” width; 18” side height. Both sides of the dump bed shall have single release drop sides as specified in the Galion product. Front height 24” and rear height tailgate 24”. Cab shield protector 84” wide attached to the dump body. Cab shield to include non- glass opening to allow rear view into the bed of the truck. Two (2) rung pull -out stainless steel steps mounted under body at the front on each side. The surface of the step to be grip strut. Bed hoist shall be electric over hydraulic powered with a 12-ton capacity. Underside of the dump body to be full undercoated. Body up indicator light in the cab. LED surface mount light kit and 2 oval lights in the rear posts. Galion CS615T-09 bed hoist. Double acting (power up/power down). Galion Dump Bed Model 133UDDS-9 or equal.; Hydraulic System Buyers Products central hydraulic system or equal. The hydraulic system shall operate both the dump bed hoist and salt spreader. The system shall be supplied with a stainless steel reservoir/valve enclosure mounted on the driver side of the chassis. A 15-gallon oil tank with filter, sight gauge, strainer and shut off valve. The PTO pump must be mounted to the transmission; Salt Spreader Swenson SADS stainless steel under tailgate salt spreader. Separate direct mounted auger and spreader motors with a 6” auger. 18” diameter poly spinner disc, spill plates located inside of body, spreader light installed for spinner operation. Electric over hydraulic spreader control.
