Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State seeks a digital production and graphic design system, retro-reflective sheeting andtechnical services to produce digital flat license plates on a made-to-order basis. The digital flat license plates will befabricated for personalized, initial reserve, logo, dealers and gratis issuance with no option to include motorcycle plates atthe State s option. Approximately two hundred fifty thousand (250,000) sets of the digital plates will be issued annually,with a minimum capability of three thousand eight hundred (3,800) sets of flat plates in a single day. The digital platesystem will be installed at the LeCI in Lebanon, Ohio. A combination of inmate and State employee workforce will operatethe system. The State would like the graphic design aspect of the system to reside at the ODPS headquarters inColumbus.This Contract is for a digital system (including complete blanking line) and retro-reflective sheeting to produce flat licenseplates. The flat plates will be utilized for regular size twelve inches by six inches (12" W x 6" L) and possibly motorcyclesize seven inches by four inches (7" W x 4" L) made to order plate categories only. The ability to produce a motorcyclesize plate is NOT a mandatory proposal requirement. The State reserves the option to select plate categories for thisdigital production, or to select plates for standard embossed production.
