• Refuse Station: Approximately 20,000 S.F., one story, including office spaces, toilets, locker rooms, conference/break room, and vehicle maintenance bay. • Transfer Station: Approximately 15,000 S.F. compactor, one story, including tipping floors, small break room, toilets, and locker rooms for men and women. The scope of Services shall include space planning, design, engineering services, construction administration services, special inspections, and closeout. An existing design for the Refuse Station shall be used as a reference to ensure consistency and that project objectives are met. Assess potential relocation of the truck wash bay. In addition, here are key attributes and deliverables excepted but not limited to the below. • Design two access points to the Transfer Station and coordinate with the City. • Conduct traffic flow analysis for vehicles entering/exiting the site (city vehicles, transfer station drivers, public traffic). • Prepare demolition plans for the abandoned building at 1550 Georgesville and a portion of the existing refuse station. • Design and coordinate electrical systems for the Transfer Station. • Develop a stormwater management plan with an underground detention system for the Transfer Station. • Identify and coordinate other utilities (water, sewer, fiber installation). • Conduct an aeronautical survey to assess the impacts of the Transfer Station construction and operation. • Prepare and submit necessary permit applications. • Coordinate with the Airport Authority to secure easements for stormwater maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance. • Develop IT infrastructure plan and coordinate with City and SWACO IT Departments. Design surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems to meet regulatory safety requirements. • Create furniture design specifications and layouts ensuring comfort and functionality. • Provide bidding assistance and construction administration to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards • Review or redesign mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for integration with the overall design. • Engage third-party consultancy for special inspections to ensure regulatory compliance. • Provide three final renderings and additional preliminary renderings. • Provide an updated cost estimate reflecting the scope and improvements by August 2025
