Columbus Water and Power (CWP) (formerly Department of Public Utilities), Division of Water Reclamation (DWR) (formerly Division of Sewerage and Drainage) is inviting professional engineering consulting firms, or teams including such firms, to submit proposals for professional engineering services for the following projects: DOSD Sanitary Pump Stations – Construction, CIP 650660-100100 DOSD Stormwater Pump Stations – Construction, CIP 611660-100100 DWR operates sixteen (16) Sanitary Pump Stations and sixteen (15) Stormwater Pump Stations. Recently, Pump Stations Evaluation Programs (CIP 650660-1000000 and CIP 611660-10000) performed a holistic evaluation of ten (10) Sanitary Pump Stations and eleven (11) Stormwater Pump Stations. These evaluations assessed structural, mechanical, process, electrical, and I&C components, identified needs and improvements, and identified risks and safety issues. The evaluation and assessments for each pump station was captured in a Technical Memorandum (TM). The recommended improvements listed in the Technical Memorandums were refined into an Program Definition Improvement Plan that will be used by the City to systematically upgrade the pump stations. The TMs and Program Definition Improvement Plans are included in the appendices.
