All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Custom Farming, Wheat for dove field: Contractor is responsible for providing all materials and labor required for all field preparation, planting a crop of winter wheat, spraying, and tending the crop, and leaving the crop standing. Wheat shall be planted in the areas designated on the map (appendix A). Wheat seed must be neonicotinoid free. The cooperator is responsible for producing a minimum yield of 65 bushels per acre of wheat or greater by August 15th . 2. Custom Farming, Corn for dove field: Contractor is responsible for providing all materials and labor required for all field preparation, planting of corn, spraying, and tending the crop, and leaving the crop standing. Corn seed must be neonicotinoid free. Corn shall be planted in the areas designated on the map (appendix A) and must average 5’ in height or greater by August 15th . Contractor is responsible for planting a minimum of 8 rows of corn down the West edge of the wheat field. Four center rows of the corn planted must not be planted to provide an ingress/egress path. Please refer to the plot design diagram below. 3. Pre-hunting season manipulation – Contractor is responsible for spraying corn and unharvested wheat using a minimum of 2quarts/acre Glyphosate between August 1 st and 15th. Contractor is responsible for establishing bare soil fire breaks a minimum of 10 feet wide surrounding the perimeter of the entire wheat plot. A fall zone to allow for easier retrieval of down birds should be mowed and lightly disked to the East of the fire break and must be a minimum of 60 feet wide the length of the field.
