The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to prepare the 2026 & 2027 cost report filing for our 6 Regional Psychiatric Hospitals (RPH) for submission and consult on Medicare Cost Report questions. OhioMHAS and the six regional psychiatric hospitals are in need of a contractor for the following duties. The contractor will be required to review the previous fiscal years cost report filings for all RPH’s prior to submission. CMS consultation is necessary for cost reports, research, and other related Medicare/Medicaid issues in the recovery. This will include but is not limited to: • Verify that MAC correctly settled the All Inclusive Rate calculation for Medicare Part B services. • Respond to the MAC for additional information on cost report filings • Analyze MAC adjustments to Medicare bad debts, and analyzing OhioMHAS additional support • Prepares and reviews final cost report settlements, respond to OhioMHAS with our conclusions and recommendations. • Consult of request for billing and billing regulations that can lead to impacts on cost reporting.
