The Greater Regional Transit Authority is seeking a transportation provider(s) to deliver ADA Paratransit service. The proposer(s) selected for this contract will be prepared to provide ADA Paratransit service twenty-four hours per day for every day of the year, as negotiated. Trips to be provided under the proposed contract can originate or end at any point within Cuyahoga County. Several locations may require service up to ¾ miles into Lorain, Medina, Summit, Geauga, or Lake Counties. Paratransit service will be provided to any eligible GCRTA ADA passenger who has scheduled an eligible trip. Passengers may be ambulatory or may require the use of a mobility device such as a wheelchair, walker, cane, etc. The Contractor shall be required to have the capability to use tablets or other mobile data terminals capable of running Trapeze’s DriverMate software module and a fare validation application. Contractors are required to maintain reliable communication with their drivers (not cellphones) and GCRTA’s Paratransit dispatch office. PROJECTED TRIP VOLUME This contract will be based on vendor(s) delivering approximately half of all paratransit service. Currently growth rate in demand is about 7% annually
