Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. The following demographics are provided:1) Target Population: Culturally and audiologically deaf, hard of hearing, Deaf-Blind, ages14 and older.2) Target Geographic Area: RSC needs service in all of Ohio's 88 counties. In order to beconsidered, a Respondent must agree to a service area of at least 3 counties.3) Target Services (further described in 2.B. below):a) Support Servicesb) Community Advocacy and Educationc) Interpretingd) LeadershipNote: In the response, provide a staffing list that includes the number of hours specificstaff will be assigned per target service.B. Target services, as described below, will be provided to the target population and theirfamilies in the target geographic areas:1) Support Services are services to maintain independence or to prevent regression due tolack of community support. This includes, but may not be limited to: coordinationreferral and linkage to resources necessary to meet the consumer's needs.a) Examples of support services are as follows:i. Vocational, legal, financial and other educationii. Cultural integrationiii. Referrals to other community supports and counselingiv. Facilitating understanding of important correspondence from service andmedical providers, employers, financial institutions, and governmentv. Assisting with budgeting and access to financial supports
