Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction (ODRC) is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for Cable TV Services; Propose a Cable TV Plan for ODRC Correctional Institutions, including details on plan options, pricing and services available. Include availability of channels for local (institutional) programming (i.e. announcements and programs for education or recreation, etc.). List the channels and networks that comprise the Proposed Plan (i.e ESPN, CNN, Fox News, Local stations, etc.). While RFP seeks pricing for a uniform cable TV plan, institutions may negotiate for different plan offerings. Local channel programming should include a web-based solution that allows distribution to multiple institutions. Describe the ability of customers to customize channels. Offeror will offer a Buy-Out for existing Cable TV Plan Services for that institutions that are interested in switching from current Cable TV Services Provider. ODRC is looking for a service/vendor that offers cloud based custom streaming services. The provider must be able to offer customization capabilities for ODRC media across all 25 locations and OSC. This will be a tenanted system with rolebased access control to allow each institution and OSC to control their specific channel. Custom content will be streamed into the cable on predefined channels. The streaming should be capable of multiple media types including text, video, and voice (radio) and allow for the channel to be edited at any time.”
