All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Build either from scratch or utilizing industry standard tools and resources an assessment to understand the current collective capacity of CPH. The tool needs to be replicable to assist CPH with future assessment reviews. The assessment must also be built on the guiding frameworks of the 10 Essential Public Health Services, the Foundational Public Health Services, and services considered as high priority due to the most recent Community Health Assessment (CHA). • Conduct and analyze the results of an assessment to investigate the current capacity of the health department both as a whole and within its sub-units. • Provide recommendations and assist in the development of an improvement strategy regarding the department’s current collective capacity that includes potential goals and measurable objectives for inclusion into the department’s workforce development plan. Recommended results could also be presented that might impact hiring practices, training & education, recruitment and retention strategies, and professional development. • Present the results of the survey to identified CPH staff, which may also include representatives in small group settings. • Provide instructional information to allow CPH staff to assess the department’s collective capacity consistent with the utilized metrics and methodology until the next formal study is conducted.
