The City of Columbus seeks a qualified firm to provide comprehensive solution that includes assisting in design-development and construction oversight of a new South Outpost facility which will house an Administration Building (4,350 SF), Vehicle Storage Building (24,570 SF), Brine/Vehicle Wash (3,700 SF), Salt Storage Barn (12,800 SF), Material Storage Structure (5,075 SF), and a Fuel island (1,875 SF). The City’s expectation of the CMaR is to bring the construction of the facilities on schedule and on budget. The site is located at 2260 Lockbourne Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207. The site area is approximately 4.69 acres, and the existing buildings will be demolished prior to construction of the new buildings. The total Project will have already been designed and permitted by the time the CMaR is under contract. The scope of the work shall include review of the current Owner developed space program; review of design documents for budget, schedule and constructability; and construction of the facility and construction management services.
