Specifications include, but are not limited to: The goal of the City's website is to provide simple electronic access to public services andserve as a public communications avenue. The current site structure and design wasdeveloped years ago and requires significant redesign to take advantage of new designelements and the growing demand for electronic services. It is the City's wish to redesign thesite to support usual e-government transactions. The redesigned site should have a themepromoting the City with a friendly and professional feel. The City plans to maintain its currentwebsite host. The City's website should provide easy access to City services, be adaptable tocurrent and changing technology, provide content management capability for City Staff and beused as a public communications tool.The website shall meet the following criteria:*Visually appealing - The site must have an attractive mix of text, photos and graphics.*Provide easy electronic access to public information for use by the target audience.*Easily updated. Respondent should list the software used to create the site including allgraphics software and recommend software and licenses that the City may need topurchase for the continued maintenance of the website.*Provide the public with an alternative means of communicating with City Officials andstaff.*Enhance delivery and awareness of public services and facilitate a clearly accessibleprocess for public inquiry .*Common Theme/Consistent Design. Each section of the site should have a commonlook/theme.*All font types and basic layout should be used throughout the site.*Provide pages for all City programs, services, and functions.Meet ADA Priority 1 requirements (see example at www.ada.gov/websites2_prnt.pdf)**Be easily upgradeable/portable.
