The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies and materials necessary to clear the William H Harsha Lake Project Boundary Line. Prices should include mobilization and de-mobilization, fuel, labor, material, and equipment. The contractor’s work and responsibility shall include all planning, programming, administration, management, supervision, communications, and inspection necessary to assure that all work is conducted in accordance with the contract requirements and all applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms and conditions incorporated herein.
The contractor shall clear a path along the project boundary that is at least four (4) foot wide (can be up to 8ft wide) along the identified segments of land in Exhibit A. All brush must be cleared and all stumps should be flush with the ground. Rubber tracked or tired equipment is allowable. Any soil damage will be repaired after job is complete by contractor with Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) approved grass seed mixture and straw (compostable spikes only for straw blankets) where applicable. All stumps should be treated with herbicide (by a state licensed applicator) in accordance with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA). Any standing, native tree that is four (4) inches or over in diameter should be left. Any debris from vegetation removal should be left on the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers side and at no point should any vegetation, personnel, or equipment be placed (however temporary) on lands other than William H Harsha Lake project lands.
