Throughout the year, numerous residential and commercial properties are found to be unsecured, and the City of Dayton secures these structures to prevent theft, fires, and life safety hazards. All structures above grade, such as houses, warehouses, industrial buildings, commercial buildings, sheds, garages, etc., and below grade,such as cisterns, septic tanks, etc., are considered part of a property that must be secured. Some properties are found to have excessive trash, debris, and overgrown vegetation. The City of Dayton has submitted this Request for Proposals to find a contractor or contractors to secure residential or commercial properties, and, if needed, to remove excessive trash, debris, and overgrown vegetation throughout.
