. Stabilization and encapsulation (painting) of existing lead based paint on existing steel/concrete stair structures. 2. Removal and replacement of resilient stair treads/risers/nosings. steel and concrete stair structure to remain. 3. Installation of stainless steel c-shaped end-wall guards over existing endwall guards at top and bottom of each stairway. New end-wall/corner guards are not required if there is no existing end-wall/corner guard currently present. 4. Removal and replacement of bathtubs and wall surrounds including valve kits, 1/4-turn water stop valves, and replacement shower heads. Remove drywall and/or plaster around tub and surround. Remove and replace any damaged batt insulation in wall cavity as required. Install new drywall and paint all wall and ceiling surfaces in the restroom. 5. Removal (with care)..of water closet at each bathroom. Thoroughly clean and store items in a nearby room. UNO, reinstall existing water closets with new water line, 1/4-turn water shutoff valve, and wax ring after flooring work. Provide appropriate sealant around base of reinstalled water closet.
