Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Public Service is receiving proposals until September 17, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. local time, for professional services for Bikeway – Broad Street Urban Trail – Washington Ave to Alum Creek Trail RFP. Proposals are being received electronically by the Department of Public Service, Office of Support Services via Bonfire at https://columbus.bonfirehub.com/login. This project consists of installing a signature multi-modal facility along Broad Street connecting improvements installed within Downtown to the Alum Creek Trail. The project will include a separated bike lane configuration with the bike lanes behind a relocated curbline on the south side of East Broad Street from Washington Avenue to the Alum Creek Trail. Multiple traffic signals will either be impacted or fully replaced. The contract will begin with preliminary engineering (PE) to determine the alignment to be advanced to detailed design, the extent of landscaping improvements, drainage solutions, stormwater control practices, structural options at bridge crossings, intersection configuration, and impacts or modifications to both street lighting and traffic signals
