Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Conduct weekly protestant worship services. • Provide religious study, or education classes. • Provide general pastoral care to protestant incarcerated Adults (IA). This may include consultation concerning religious issues, grief care and crisis. Pastoral care visitation may occur with IA’s in special units such as TPU, hospital/infirmary, living units and the visiting room. • Attend Annual Religious Service meeting – a mandatory event ($75 yearly compensation for attendance). • Make referrals for IA’s to appropriate services. • Distribute religious literature and/or conduct religious programs. • Assist Chaplain by prescribing appropriate duties and/or conduct religious programs at institution. • Perform holiday services (i.e. Easter and Christmas).
