Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Design & Layout: Reconfigure the lower level of North Canton City Hall to improve workflows, storage, and security. • Demolition: Remove non-load-bearing walls, flooring, and other elements as needed. • Construction: Build new walls, ceilings, floors, and install windows and fixtures suited for law enforcement functions. • Security & Safety: Implement advanced security features like secure storage, bullet-resistant materials, and access control systems. Audio-visual systems will include paging, sound reinforcement, TV, and projector connections. • Interior Finishes: Install durable finishes (floor/wall coverings, lighting, and furniture) emphasizing safety and longevity. • Plumbing: Modify or replace existing plumbing for new fixtures and restroom locations. • Lighting: Replace existing fixtures with energy-efficient LED lighting. Special lighting systems will be installed as needed, with egress lighting meeting NFPA standards.
