A. General. The Contractor shall provide all superintendence, labor, materials, tools, equipment, technologies, specialized techniques and all other appurtenances necessary to provide demolition of the Former Jail and Administration Building including removal and disposal of all trash and debris, abatement and disposal of all universal waste and asbestos containing materials (ACM), draining and proper disposal or recycling of all regulated fluids, provide copies of all disposal, recycling, and/or salvage receipts. B. Description of the Work. The work is more specifically described as, but is not limited to: Asbestos & Universal Waste Abatement • Abate and properly dispose of all asbestos containing materials and universal waste contained throughout the facility. • Properly dispose of all waste materials. • Disposal receipts and manifests are required for everything leaving the site. Demolition • Complete demolition and recycling/disposal of all components of the Jail and Administration Building, including removal of all subsurface footers and foundations except those specified to remain in the LJB Greene County Jail Demolition Feasibility Report. • Removal and proper disposal of all electrical equipment; liquid contents of sinks or other containers; and other types of miscellaneous debris. • Complete removal and disposal of all refuse at the Property. • The contractor shall secure the site 24/7 and maintain such during demolition and remediation. Remediation: • Complete removal and disposal of all asbestos-containing materials and universal wastes prior to performing the building demolition work. This work may be phased. • Remove and properly dispose of all wastes, petroleum based or otherwise, contained within the structures prior to performing demolition work.
