Specifications include, but are not limited to: Geotechnical services are requested to provide for proper reclamation of eligible abandoned mine lands throughout the coal fields of Eastern and Southeastern Ohio. Ohio’s Abandoned Mine Land (AML) program within Division of Mineral Resources Management (DMRM) is dedicated to proper reclamation of abandoned mine sites to restore unusable lands that pose dangers to health/safety of the public and/or environment to that of productive areas for use by private and/or public landowners. Projects are initiated based on eligibility determination and initial private landowner approval to perform work on their property. DMRM will administer projects. While specific project site(s) and scope(s) of work have not been identified at this time, SOQs will be retained through June 30, 2025; project(s) and deliverables will be determined on an as-needed basis. Proposal(s) for assigned project(s) within the Agreement will be based on negotiated hourly fee schedule. As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized by DMRM, provide the following categories of services: • Subsurface exploration • Field and laboratory material testing • Material failure and settlement forensics • Geotechnical engineering • Material placement testing and inspection
