1. The contractor is to provide the equipment and materials necessary to install up to one hundred, sixty (160) cubic yards of ADA compliant wood fiber mulch as a top off at the above playground locations. 2. Written documentation from the manufacturer of the fiber mulch that the product provided is in compliance with ASTM Standard F 2075 – Engineered Wood Fiber Safety Surfacing, must accompany the quotation. 3. The Assistant Facilities Manager is to be informed of the installation schedule within 5 days of first scheduled delivery. 4. Mulch is to be distributed evenly over all areas. 5. Field measurements are the responsibility of the contractor. 6. The contractor is to cordon off work areas with caution tape or other means necessary to restrict pedestrian trespass while work is in progress. 7. The contractor is responsible for all property damage, including, but not limited to: fencing, playground equipment, sidewalks, landscaping, etc. 8. Contractors are encouraged to visit and examine the sites prior to responding. 9. The City of Shaker Heights retains the right to re-bid, cancel the project, and select all or any portion of this RFQ. 10. Billing – copies of receipts verifying tonnage must accompany the final bill. 11. Saturday work must receive the advanced approval of the Project Manager.
