Specifications include, but are not limited to:Responsibilities of the Academic Distress Commission Improvement Coordinator A. Liaison between the community partners, the Academic Distress Commission (ADC), school district and CEO, as the case may be, and Ohio Department of Education (ODE). The evaluator will assist in s u p p o r t i n g “ c o m m u n i t y l e a r n i n g c e n t e r s ” w h i c h a r e p u b l i c -private partnerships that provide health services, mentoring, and early childhood education services to a school and its community. B. Attend and participate in monthly Commission meetings to provide updates. Monthly meetings are held in Columbus. C. Participate on ADC and CEO, as the case may be, weekly conference calls to provide updates (as needed). D. Collaborate with Academic monitors to be made aware of progress within the district’s school buildings and classrooms. E. Garner supports to assist with improvement efforts. F. Produce a weekly/bi-weekly report/summary of findings for documentation and report outs. G. All tasks are subject to adjustment pending district CEO or ADC chair’s and CEO, as the case may be, direction and design. H. Provide ongoing support to the assigned district and Center for Accountability and Continuous Improvement Office, as needed. This support could be ongoing academic support and community engagement support as the public liaison in addition to supporting community learning centers and partnerships. I.
