Fire Alarm Design Engineering: Detection & control drawings Detection & control specifications Calculations Equipment and material submittals Sprinkler/Mist System Design Engineering: Low-pressure mist system drawings Calculations Equipment and material submittals Sequence of Operations Narrative: Alarm logic System shutdowns Mist activation 2.4. SPECIFICATIONS Engineering & Design shall represent the performance of the following goals: Electric Bus specific alarm location & notification for occupant evacuation Local Fire Department notification Automatic systems control shutdown operations of equipment such as HVAC, Exhaust Fans, Natural Gas lines, Motor Oil lines, and Transmission Fluid lines Low-pressure mist water spray system to prevent fire from spreading to adjacent buses, surrounding areas & equipment by attempting to maintain a cooler building atmosphere The system shall be designed for effective suppression of Class A, B, and potential lithium-ion-related fires Consult with the Owner for the design of a failsafe design ensuring that mist activation does not compromise electrical safety near energized BEB charging equipment. The consultant must coordinate with SORTA to establish baseline schedule and installation feasibility.
