FY26 OSHP Aviation Recurrent Helicopter Pilot Training, required recertification classes for OSP Aviation. Specifications include, but are not limited to: The OSHP Aviation Section contracts with vendors to conduct annual helicopter recurrent training for Division pilots. The minimum requirements for this training are: Three-day Recurrent Course for five pilots that includes: Daytime Recurrent Training (two days) in both a AS350B3e (Dual Hydraulic) and AS350B2 (Single Hydraulic); Minimum of 3.0 hours flight time and instruction in an AS350B2 or AS350B3e helicopter, or its equivalent; Minimum of 8.0 hours of ground instruction on the AS350B2 and AS350B3e; Night Vision Goggle, NVG, recurrent training (one night); Minimum of 1.5 hours flight time and instruction in an AS350B2 or AS350B3e helicopter or its equivalent; Minimum of 2.0 hours of ground instruction; Five-day Initial Training Course for one pilot that includes: Daytime Initial Training (four days) in both a AS350B3e (Dual Hydraulic) and AS350B2 (Single Hydraulic); Minimum of 6.0 hours flight time and instruction in an AS350B2 or AS350B3e helicopter, or its equivalent; Minimum of 16.0 hours of ground instruction on the AS350B2 and AS350B3e; Night Vision Goggle, NVG, recurrent training (one night); Minimum of 1.5 hours flight time and instruction in an AS350B2 or AS350B3e helicopter or its equivalent; Minimum of 2.0 hours of ground instruction
