It is the intent of the City of Columbus, Department of Recreation and Parks, Parks Maintenance to obtain formal bids to establish a contract for the purchase of landscape maintenance services. Columbus Recreation and Parks is requesting bids for the landscape maintenance and mowing of the newly renovated downtown bridge caps, which include those on Spring Street, Long Street, and East Broad Street. This also encompasses their connecting side streets, Elijah Pierce Ave. and Lester Dr. In addition, the south side of Fulton Street between Fourth Street and Washington Boulevard is to be maintained under this contract. These areas are outlined on the attached coverage maps. The scope of work ranges from landscaping (yellow), raised bed/container plantings maintenance (orange) and turf mowing (pink). The expectation is that these are to be consistently maintained at a high-quality commercial grade level. The contract resulting from this bid proposal will provide for the purchase of landscape maintenance services as detailed in the requirements attached. Bidders are required to show experience in providing this type of service as detailed in these specifications.
