Delivery: The Contractor has the responsibility to: a. Furnish, transport and plant viable trees; b. Reserve work space along streets; c. Excavate in-place soil, plant and backfill with parent material, top dress with top soil provided by City of Shaker Heights; d. Stake trees at time of planting e. Water trees at planting time (fill 20 gallon bag). f. Furnish and place mulch at time of planting g. Remove excess material and cleanup site at time of planting h. Guarantee trees for two years and make appropriate replacement planting; i. Keep work site safe at all times; j. Any work incidental to above. k. Complete all work on or before the date specified by the City. l. Site restoration (soil/seed/straw) of planting site. Watering of site restoration is also to be done at time of planting. m. Install tree protection guards provided by the city (not all trees will require guards)
