3.3.2.1 Dimensions 3.3.2.1.1 The unit shall be a Tandem Axle, Conventional Cab truck or as needed to support fully loaded truck. 3.3.2.1.2 Chassis shall be suitable for mounting a minimum 3,000 gallon and a maximum 4,000-gallon Water Flusher Body. 3.3.2.1.3 GVWR: Minimum 34,000 lbs as needed to accommodate flusher body. 3.3.2.2 Engine 3.3.2.2.1 Shall be diesel powered and suitable HP for truck to operate flusher body. 3.3.2.2.2 Shall have a 120-volt engine block heater with the engine manufacturer’s recommended wattage and a receptacle mounted in the front of chassis. 3.3.2.2.3 Engine shall be equipped with warning light and buzzer for high water temperature, low oil pressure and low coolant level and to include automatic engine shut down. 3.3.2.2.4 Equipment shall include oil filter, fuel filter, air filter with restriction gauge, water filters, and automatic fan control for specific engine as required by the manufacturer. 3.3.2.2.5 Exhaust system with vertical muffler and vertical tail pipe with heat shield and grab handle, if applicable and not to interfere with the plumbing and hydraulic plumbing on the flusher body. 3.3.2.2.6 Limit maximum road speed electronically to 70 mph. 3.3.2.3 Transmission 3.3.2.3.1 The unit shall be equipped with an Allison transmission sized for application with PTO Flange, 6 speed automatic. 3.3.2.3.2 PTO Flange and lock up torque converter shall be on the left side (driver). 3.3.2.3.3 Dipstick location shall not interfere with PTO and hydraulic pump installation.
