Wooden Snow Fence Slats: Slats are to be made of No. 1 Aspen or Spruce measuring (3/8") threeeighths inches thick, one and one-half (1-1/2") inches wide and 48 inches long. Variation in width is not to exceed one sixteenth (1/16") inch nor one-quarter (1/4") inch in length. Thickness is to be a minimum of threeeighths (3/8") inches thick but not to exceed 9-sixteenths (9/16") inches. Both ends are to be cut square. The slats are to be painted with good quality red iron oxide stain or equivalent. Wire: Slats are woven with 5 double-strands of 12½ gauge galvanized wire.
