Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. SERVICE REQUIREMENTS The Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, transportation, parking fees, tools-of-the-trade including specialized diagnostic testing equipment, consumable supplies (including, by way of illustration and not limitation, lubrication, solder, caulking, tape, wire nuts, fasteners, gases, and other consumable items) and materials as required to provide comprehensive preventive maintenance on all solar system installations listed herein. The Contractor shall provide system maintenance, emergency on-call response, inspection, testing, repair, replacement, and installation services for solar panels in accordance with pricing submitted in the Bid Form. The Contractor shall provide the above listed services at the County facilities listed below. Building Address System Capacity Westover Library 1644 N. SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM ANNUAL INSPECTION The objective of the agreement is to maintain existing and new County solar energy systems for their service life, including any washing, upgrades, and/or repairs necessary to ensure the commercially reasonable continuous delivery of electricity. The Contractor shall perform the following tasks on an annual basis at the time and date agreed to by the County Project Officer and the Contractor. Maintenance of the Solar systems to include but not be limited to: A. Perform visual inspection of Solar energy system equipment. B. Inspect the Solar energy system, conduits, associated support structure for loose hardware, damage, etc. C. Mark, isolate, and clear any minor ground faults. D. Correct any damaged wiring and secure any loose wiring. E. Open all array combiner boxes and disconnect switches for visible damage, open fuses, etc. Tighten/re-torque bolted connections if necessary. F. Test and record array and source circuit electrical parameters. G. Confirm that all system equipment including PV Modules, Solar collectors, and Inverters are operating and are functioning according to the manufacturers specification. H. Replace failed Solar energy Modules or invertors on any existing construction or facility. I. Able to install new additional solar energy Modules on an existing or new constructions. J. Supply all necessary internet connectivity for monitoring of the Solar energy system. K. Inspect and troubleshoot the existing solar energy monitoring kiosk and its compatibility with data stream providers or other monitoring systems. L. Provide a comprehensive onboarding process for newly constructed systems that includes coordinating with installation contractors, ensuing equipment and installation warranties requirements are fulfilled and long-term maintenance plan strategy is created and agreed upon with County staff. M. Coordinate with County team or representative regarding work on Green Roof installations coincident with any solar PV systems. N. Prepare a System Assessment Report within thirty (30) days of the annual inspection and recommend any repairs or replacements to the County Project Officer. Repairs or replacement items recommended in the report shall be addressed separately. O. In the event of equipment failure and replacement, decommissioned equipment and materials should be recycled to maximum extent possible following industry best practices.
