The City constructed a new east side entrance to the pavilion. Railings and handrails are needed. Patio Railings: ~12.5' needs to be installed on the north side of the patio and ~12.5' needs to be installed on the south side of the patio. Railing needs to be attached/welded onto the existing railing on the north side so it appears to continue on, (cut back the north side railing so a 90 degree bend can be added tying in the new railing). Railing is to match the existing. Vertical piping ~1 1/4" OD schedule 40 steel pipe, horizonal piping ~1 5/8" OD schedule 40 steel pipe. 4" spacing in the vertical pickets, weep holes on the top and bottom of every picket. New railings are to be flush mounted. All railings must be galvanized. Handrails: There is 11 stairs on the new entrance. Three (3) handrails are needed, one on the north side of the stairs, one on the south side of the stairs and one in the middle of the stairs. Handrails are to match the existing handrails on site, ~1 5/8" OD schedule 40 steel pipe with weep holes on the top and bottom vertical piping. New handrails are to be flush mounted. All handrails must be galvanized.
